1. Who is responsible for your data

This website, available at https://turquoiseyachting.fr, is published by SARL Turquoise Yachting, Jeanneau dealer in Martinique. Turquoise Yachting is the data controller for the personal data collected on this website.

2. The data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily send us when you use the website’s forms, along with some technical data needed for the website to run properly.

Data sent through our forms

On the contact form and the quote request, we collect:

• your first and last name;
• your email address;
• your phone number;
• the boat model or type you are interested in, when you tell us;
• the content of your message or request.

Technical data

Like most websites, this website records certain technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and may set cookies. Details are given in section 7.

We do not collect any sensitive data and we never ask you for banking information through this website.

3. Why we use it

Your data is used only for the following purposes:

• responding to your contact, information and quote requests;
• managing the resulting business relationship (sale, maintenance, financing, trade-in);
• ensuring the proper operation, security and improvement of the website.

We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing and we do not sell it.

4. On what legal basis

Depending on the case, the processing of your data is based on:

• your consent, when you send us a request through a form or accept non-essential cookies;
• the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the contract, when your request precedes or accompanies a purchase, maintenance work or a trade-in;
• our legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the website and responding to your requests.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for a limited period, proportionate to the purpose:

• contact and quote requests with no follow-up: up to 3 years after the last exchange;
• data related to a business relationship (purchase, maintenance, trade-in): for the duration of the relationship, then according to the applicable legal retention periods;
• cookies and trackers: according to the periods indicated in section 7, within a limit of 13 months for cookies subject to consent.

6. Who has access to your data

Your data is intended for the Turquoise Yachting teams in charge of customer relations and of handling your request. It may be shared with our technical service providers (hosting, website maintenance) only to the extent necessary for their work, and under a duty of confidentiality. The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus) and maintained by Passerelle. No data is transferred or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Cookies

This website sets no advertising cookies and no audience measurement trackers. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and security are used; they do not require your consent and are never used to profile you.

For the same reason, the Google map on the Contact page does not load on its own: it waits until you click “Show map”. Until you do, no data, including your IP address, is sent to Google from this website.

As of today, no audience measurement tool is in service, so you will not see a consent banner: there is nothing to accept or decline.

The day we switch one on, a banner will ask for your consent before anything is set. Until you accept, the measurement tag is not loaded at all; declining never loads anything. Your choice is kept for six months in a cookie set by this website (ty_consent), and the “Manage cookies” link in the footer lets you change it at any time.

You can also delete cookies already set at any time in your browser settings.

8. Security of your data

The website is accessible over a secure connection (HTTPS). We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or disclosure.

9. Your rights

In accordance with the Règlement général sur la protection des données (RGPD, known in English as the GDPR, Regulation 2016-679) and the loi Informatique et Libertés (French Data Protection Act), you have the following rights over your data:

• right of access: to know what data we hold about you;
• right to rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• right to erasure: to request the deletion of your data;
• right to object and to restriction of processing;
• right to portability of your data;
• right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority, www.cnil.fr).
